FryerFighter™ kitchen fire suppression

FryerFighter™ is a kitchen tool which provides quick access to a fireproof “blanket” (9 square feet). This fabric is impervious to temperatures of 3000°F (most cooking oils have a flash point of ±700°F). When draped over a stove-top fire, it will quickly, cleanly and effectively extinguish the flames.

With FryerFighter™, There is no extinguisher-discharge to clean up (or the threat of spreading grease fires with inappropriate extinguishers!), and no unpleasant odor. Hang one near the stove in your home, studio, apartment, camper, RV, boat – wherever the potential for a kitchen cooking fire exists! The FryerFighter™ is an excellent safety tool to have in the kitchen.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends:

"Never pour water on a grease fire, and never discharge an [inappropriate] fire extinguisher onto a pan fire, as it can spray or shoot burning grease around the kitchen, actually spreading the fire."1

How does the FryerFighter™ Work?

  1. Remove blanket from tube and open to full size with both hands.
    Remove fire suppression blanket from the tube.
  2. With forward motion (away from you), drape the blanket over cookware.
    Drape the blanket over the cookware.
  3. Completely cover and smother flames.

While the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) does not test, label or endorse any product, they do issue standard guidelines for product flammability requirements. As such, all FryerFighter™ fabrics far exceed NFPA Standards: NFPA (5.1) 701.
